Distec GmbH was established in 1996 and is one of the leading suppliers of TFT displays and TFT systems. Besides customized developments and modifications, the service also includes product refinement and the assembly of monitor systems from the component to the finished product. Distec develops mechanical designs, custom-defined or specifically modified electronic components as well as software solutions.
Proprietary developments are the core of the company. On the basis of sophisticated technologies, Distec creates, for example, components for active matrix TFT displays used in industrial, medical or multimedia applications. In order to do so, the latest USB and network controllers, RGB converter boards and graphics cards are used.
The product range also includes integrated solutions consisting of TFTs combined with the corresponding electronic and compact mechanics. Compact panels are, for example, a successful kit solution. Hardware platforms and software developed by Distec are used to control products of TFT partners such as Chimei Innolux, Optrex or Samsung.

Since November 2003 DISTEC GmbH is DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certified by TÜV Management Service. The 2009 certification was passed according to the new DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
A company with this certification ensures the customer that product quality is not coincidental but the result of strict observation of specific regulations regarding development, production and sales.
Solely the ISO 9001 encompasses all divisions of a company. The management, development department, production line, sales department, scheduling, stockkeeping and despatch department all conform to the regulations which are agreed to in writing.
